Tatiana Baughman, an Eastern Shore native, is a materially explorative type of artist; her process may begin with inspiration from available materials, or she may explore materials in pursuit of an idea. She enjoys working with natural elements for their ephemeral qualities, but also incorporates other components that add meaning, value, or visual appeal. She uses color to reflect emotions and moods. Tatiana will graduate from Washington College with a double major in Art and Business Management, accompanied by a Marketing minor. She is eager to begin the next step of her journey in Boston this fall as a graduate student at MassArt’s Dynamic Media Institute. Tatiana hopes to elevate her own thinking, broaden her artistic and conceptual capabilities and engage her audience while expanding her use of media and technology.
