ARTWORKS          ARTIST STATEMENT          BIO          ARTIST INTERVIEW
My work is driven by mature topics, such as existentialism, death, genocide, violence, and the dark aspects of humanity, despite being a light-hearted, odd, quirky individual who laughs at memes that have no inherent meaning. Recently, I have pursued installation and collage as a way for my work to exist beyond the physical page. I incorporate current events, such as the current U.S. administration and the COVID-19 pandemic, while using underlying themes adapted from my study of George Saunders’ fiction. These include the ways that people treat the "losers" of the world, and the extent to which an individual will allow or be a part of the suffering of others.
